Maha Alfahim started her career in finance in 2013 at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as a macro strategist. In her role, she analyzed global investment conditions, conducted macro-oriented research to determine the relative value between countries, currencies, and fixed income sectors, and developed tools and processes to facilitate investment decisions. She also has held a second position as an Investment Manager at the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance. At her family office, Maha advises on strategic and tactical asset allocation.
In 2015, she successfully led and developed the family office’s Venture Capital arm focused on investing in technology companies in the US and Africa and was instrumental in bringing several high-growth startups to Abu Dhabi. Maha also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Eshraq Investments, an Abu Dhabi-based publicly listed company with a multi-asset portfolio under management. Maha holds a BSc Hons in Political Science and International Economics from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor.
