Dr. Yousef Al Hammadi is a pioneering leader at the intersection of exponential technologies, innovation ecosystems, and global impact. With advanced degrees from MIT, UAEU, and Khalifa University, he was the first to earn a PhD in Statistics in the UAE, publishing influential work on neural networks.
He led the application of advanced GIS and machine learning to UAE census data, well before the big data era, and held senior roles in Abu Dhabi’s government, forecasting tech innovation cycles and deploying edge IoT and sentiment analytics for major events like the Special Olympics.
Yousef has helped incubate UAE startup ecosystems in collaboration with Techstars and ADIO, attracting global Deep Tech startups and advising on localized innovation. He has spoken at Singularity University, Stanford VC Unlocked, and the UN’s AI for Good, and co-created two Abu Dhabi-based VC funds, where he now serves as Partner focusing on AI and analytics investments.
